Payments will NOT be accepted at the school.

Payments may be made in person at any Tompkins Community Bank location. Tompkins customers may pay in cash. Non-Tompkins customers must pay via check or money order.

Payments made via mail must have a legible postmark.
Payments without a legible postmark will be processed as of the date received.

Payment Period:

Tax bills can be paid from September 1 through September 30 with no penalty.
Payments made from October 1 through October 31 must include the 2% penalty.
No taxes will be received after October 31.

Unpaid taxes will be relieved in January by your respective county.

Common Errors to Avoid:

  • Check is not signed
  • Written amount does not match numeric amount
  • Underpayment of tax due

These errors will result in the payment being returned to the payee.
